Where: Mississippi R. pool 7, Brice Prairie area
Weather: (1753) N21 G25, sunny, 66°
H2O: 8.5↑, 74 kcfs, 46 °, turbid to clear
Caught: Me: nothing, Scott: lost small pike at boat side
Today I really did not expect to catch much, and we did not. However I was hopeful we would each catch a fish or two.
We combed the water and tried many early season pike holding spots but it was to no avail. Looking back I wish I had fished a slower presentation. Perhaps something like a floating Rapala or maybe a Fluke.
