August 7, 2016 Sun 930AM-1230PM- bass fishing by myself
Location: Mississippi R. pool 7 (Lake Onalaska)
Weather: (1153) SE3, clear, 75 °
H2O: 7.27↓ 62 kcfs, 80°, sloughs dirty and weedy
Caught: 4 LMB 12-16”, 1 pike 22”
Observations: Lake Onalaska is one weedy mess and almost stagnant!
The bass fishing was not great, but it was better than the fishing up at Hayward. Four of the five fish I caught were caught in the channel by the boat landing. And all fish were caught on a frog.
