August 8, 2016 Mon 7PM-1045PM- flat -head fishing by myself
Location: Mississippi R. pool 7
Weather: (1953) SE7, clear, 78 °
H2O: 7.08↓ 62 kcfs, 80°, clear
Caught: Bait: bluegills and one perch, one 5 lb. flat head
The bluegill fishing was pretty good out on the southern man-made island and the size was actually a little big for bait. I also bass fished Somners Slough for about five minutes and lost one decent bass on a frog. I also fished for flat heads in this same are and caught the one flat head.
