Today was the first day of seven days of vacation in the Hayward area. We went out to get our feed wet on the Chippewa Flowage. The summer has been cool here this year, and the water temperature shows it. Weed growth is also not as far along this year for the stage of summer we are at.
As the caught category shows, the fishing is tuff. The water is extremely clear, I believe this is a result of the cool temperatures and therefore no algae bloom.
This lake is very beautiful: very little shoreline development and lots of loons.
