Tonight was another dreary night of fishing. Activity was better than last night though. I should have had more to show for my efforts, but I did not do a good job on the hook-ups. The highlight of the night was watching a wake zoom in on my topwater frog. The fish followed the frog to the boat, at which time I could see it was a pretty good size dog fish. It sucked the bait in and just as quickly it spit it back out. It happened so quickly I did not have time to set the hook. I guess for being one of the oldest fish species they are not so dumb!
