August 9, 2016 Tue 7PM-1045PM- bass and flat -head fishing by myself
Location: Mississippi R. pool 7
Weather: (1953) S8, mostly cloudy, 82 °, 29.93
H2O: 6.62’↓ 54 kcfs, +80°, clear
Caught: Bait: bluegills and crappies and one perch, 4 LMB 14-18”, 1- 13 lb. flat head
Tonight was a combination of bass fishing and flat head fishing. The bass fishing was very good for the limited time I was able to do it, and the flat head fishing was not too bad either. The smallish flat head I did catch slammed my bait and fought like a thirty pounder. I also lost another one to a snag.
