The spot I fished at tonight was the first time ever fishing here for me. I was fishing in ten to fifteen feet of water and marking lots of fish. They showed some interest in my offerings, but would not commit to dining. Of course that is pretty much on par with how this ice season has gone. I did see a couple of fish caught by other fisherman, but it was in no way a major feeding frenzy.
There is still plenty of ice, but the water is on the rise and it is necessary to wade through water to get to good ice.
