May 11, 2016 Wed 60PM-815PM-bass and pike fishing by myself
Where: Mississippi R. pool 7, Lake Onalaska area
Weather: (1753) calm, light rain, 60°
H2O: 7.29↓, 62 kcfs, 58 °, slightly dirty
Caught: 4 pike 20-24”, 1 SMB 13”
Observations: The weed growth on the lake appears to be spotty so far this year. However, that may change with some warmer weather.
I hit about four major spots tonight, and none of them were very good. The pike were caught off the weed edges on the lake and the smallmouth bass was caught off one of the man made islands.
