May 18, 2016 Wed 7PM-1130PM-cat fishing with Scott
Where: Mississippi R. pool 7
Weather: calm, clear, 60°
H2O: 6.57↓, 59 kcfs, 60 °, clear
Caught: Bait: mostly perch but also a few bluegills
Scott: 1-5LB flat head, Me: 1-8LB flat head
Observations: The river is in good shape: clear and not no too high. The Black River is low and very difficult to navigate even with the go- devil.
Bait catching in the channel was very easy, with the majority of the bait being perch. The flat head bite was not great but the two we did catch bit hard!
