May 28, 2016 Sat 430PM-2AM-flat head fishing with Scott
Where: Mississippi R. pool 6 and the Trempealeau R.
Weather: (2053) N7, light rain, 65°
H2O: 5.98↑, 36 kcfs, 69 °, semi – Clear, Trempealeau R. 5.71 →
Caught: Bait: Bluegills and rock bass (was very difficult)
Me: 1-12 lb. channel cat
Scott: 3 & 7 lb. flat heads

The summer season is in full progress with the start of the warmer weather and the thunderstorms. The fishing was pretty difficult tonight. The difficulty started with the bait catching, which was to the point of being stressful on account of the lack of action. The flat head bite was also tough. We managed one bite and one fish at each location we fished.
