I was glad to be out fishing after work tonight with Norm, but my expectations were not high. The river is rapidly rising, is very dirty and has a ton of debris floating downstream.
The bite was definitely not there tonight. The current was not bad as I had thought it would be, but the water was very muddy. I did see a few small walleyes caught by fishermen that were fishing off the wall on the Wisconsin side. I do not think this was a coincidence, maybe with the fast high water areas with no current correlates to fish!
