This evening I fished by boat below the dam. I was able to use the lower landing where the rising water had just removed the grip of the winter ice.
The water is very high and dirty, and this influenced the areas that I fished. I targeted areas that were out of the reach of the angry torrents of the main channel. The fish seemed very inactive and lethargic. I only felt one bite, otherwise I just felt the sensation of the fish’s weight alerting me to its presence.
