Tonight was not a flawless night. The first three fish I hooked into I lost, and they were quality fish. Then, the fourth fish straightened out my cheap snap and swan off with my bait. That fish must have jumped out of the water three times trying to shake my unattached bait. During each jump I could plainly hear the hooks and the rattles of the bait. That fish must have thought that was the toughest, spiniest minnow it had ever engulfed.
