Since I have not been flat head fishing for several weeks, I dedcided it was once again time to try for MR. Big Whiskers. The bait catching went pretty well. I was still finding some bluegills relating to the rocks and current of the main channel areas. The flat head fishing was another matter. Typically this time of year I do not do well on these big fish, and tonight was no exception.
On the seasonal observation side I noticed several things tonight: The rice is in the pollination stage, the lotus plants are in full bloom, and the canadian geese are assembling in large flocks.
