1 19” LMB, approx 8 SMB 14-17”

It was Sunday evening and I had bass on my mind. I started off fishing for LMB and caught a nice 19” right off the bat on a frog. Unfortunately that was it for the large mouth. I then headed up one of my favorite tributaries of the black and did pretty well on the smb. Ever year there is a very good pattern that develops where the smbs are feeding heavily on pike minnows. This year was no exception; the only difference was I did not catch any LMB. I also tried the rocks on the Minnesota side and had absolutely no luck there.
