8-5-2011 Fri
8:00 AM –11:00 AM

Weather: high 88˚, light wind, sunny
Location: Chippewa Flowage (East side)
Caught: about a dozen bluegills with a few nice ones
Partners: Dwayne

Comments
Dwayne and I started out fishing the sunken bogs with very limited success. It seems as if the fish have vacated the sunken bogs. After catching very few fish we turned the rest of the morning into a scouting trip. We located some cribs, but again the locator was telling us that no fish were present and we should not waste our time.

Observations
The water is quite high and the west side has a significant algae bloom. Today is the last day on the flowage for another year!
