Today is the 65th anniversary of D-Day. I cannot stop thinking of the young men and the sacrifices they made for their country and the people of Europe. Some of these young men never made it home, and the others who did eventually come home were probably never the same. So as I fish on this cold dreary evening I am thinking about the sacrifices you made so long ago. And I thank you for your service to this country and for the liberation of Europe.
On a lighter note, as a result of the cold temps and the rain the water temperature has fallen almost ten degrees.
