Fish caught
1. Caught approx 20 bluegills and five pumpkin seeds for bait. Bluegills were still on beds, but not as many as one week ago. Most fish were in the 7-7.5 inch range

River was fairly high and fast, however it was clear. Not much activity tonight, just one bite and one flathead. The mosquitoes were again on a mission to make us as miserable as possible. We saw one deer munching water vegetation along the shoreline. When we anchored for cat fishing the water rushing past the boat made an almost a mythical musical sound.
