Comments:

It was a cat fishing night with Scott tonight. We have not been fishing for flats for a few days, so we were due. We did not have any trouble catching our bait in the channel behind the house. We also tried the snags next to the firs hut out in the sloughs and caught a few there also. The first spot we tried was flat head alley and this is where Scott caught his flat head. The next stop of the night was just around the corner from popcorn. We only fished this area about fifteen minutes and never had a bite. Our final destination was buoy snag. We fished this until we both got fed up with all the weeds tangling our lines and playing havoc with our patience.

Observations:

The water is still going up, but it is getting close to its crest.
