Comments

Scott had just gotten back from his Honey Moon , which consisted of a cruise and a couple of side fishing trips, and he was ready to once again do battle with the flat heads. Bait gathering was once again not a slam dunk, we got what we needed, but that was about it.
Scott had the odd catch of the day; he caught and boated a soft shelled turtle. He also caught a very respectable 22 pounder. The action was not fast, but we did have a respectable catch of three flat heads.
Two of the fish and the turtle came out of Miller Slough and the other fish came out of Somners Chute.

Observations:

It was a very hot, humid, mosquito infested, miserably uncomfortable night.
