Comments:

I have been catching a good number of nice small mouth bass on pool 7, so I figured it was time to head north of Trempealeau and do the same. I was armed with my new found small mouth bait, which is a Heddon Baby Torpedo. I usually do very well up here on both largemouth and small mouths. The numbers of fish caught are usually impressive and they are nice sized.
This was my second trip of the year up here. My first trip was a bust and this one was not too far from being a bust. I did catch some fish, but it was pretty slow and the fish were very scattered.
Observations:

The river is still dropping, but the flow and water temperature are still quite high.
