I put the go devil back in the water for a while and since I had it in the water I thought I might just as well go for a little ride and see if I could find any bass. I went out on the lake to the sand flats coming out of Somners Chute. Well, I did not even have a strike or see any fish activity, it was completely dead! The lake has definitely frustrated me the last couple of months.
Observations:

The lake is in pretty good shape; there is plenty of weed growth, good flow and the clarity is good.
