Bait – it was easy pickings, we caught bluegills, crappies and perch / SMB – me (5) 10 -16”, Scott (1) 17”, No Flat heads

Tonight I needed to catch two smaller flat heads for a fish fry while we were on vacation at Hayward, but unfortunately we did not catch any. We did have a few bites, but they were very subtle and we never did hook a fish. The bluegills cooperated as did the small mouths, but the flat heads must have known my intentions.

Observations:

We did find a pretty good concentration of bluegills tonight, the first in several outings.
