Caught: Bait and no flat heads
To start out the bait catching was a little tough. We hit the man made islands out on the lake first and they were totally void of any fish. We then ran over to the tracks and caught some bluegills, but the majority of them were very small. We finished the bait gathering out by the lights and caught a few out there. My observation is that the bluegill population is much lower than normal.
Flat head fishing was a total bust, we had one legitimate bite and that was it. I do believe the fish are heavy into the spawn and fishing is going to be slow for the next couple of weeks.
