Mississippi R. pool 7, 6.7’ →, 50kcfs, 76°, clear//S 8, overcast, 77°
Caught: Me: 8 Large mouth bass, Scott: 5 Large mouth bass
It was a top water frog fishing night with Scott tonight. The fish were not as plentiful or as active as I had been experiencing, but we did all right. We did run into a couple of spots where we would catch or miss a couple in a particular spot, but then we would go quite a stretch with nothing. It almost seemed as if the fish were there, but if they had experienced any fishing pressure recently they were not very aggressive in biting our frogs.
